Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team in Scottsdale, Arizona (North Scottsdale). This role involves auditing inventory and sales sheets against accounting software totals for multiple locations across Arizona, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This position is 100% in-office and offers a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Audit inventory and sales sheets against accounting software totals for multiple locations across the state.
  • Ensure all data entries align with the accounting records and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with store managers to verify inventory records and sales figures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed audit reports to support financial reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales and inventory reports as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Basic Excel skills are necessary (no pivot tables or VLOOKUP required).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and store managers.
  • Effective communication skills to address discrepancies and support store operations.
